Who We Are

Offender Aid and Restoration of Arlington County (OAR) is a private nonprofit that serves the County of Arlington and the Cities of Alexandria and Falls Church. OAR provides community-managed programs aimed at restoring the individual offender into the community. OAR currently has approximately 150 volunteers providing services to inmates in the Arlington County and Alexandria City jails. 

Volunteers can help in a wide variety of ways, such as assisting with education, recovery support, or enhanced life skills training.

Limited Spanish capability on staff. For assistance in other languages, volunteer should bring interpreter.
